Our Story

At Silk + Scrunchie, we are passionate about silk and silk accessories. Our journey began with our founder's love for this luxurious fabric and a desire to create hair accessories that are not only stylish but also gentle on your hair.

Our accessories are made with love and finished by hand on the  Wurundjeri Country (Naarm, Melbourne). We take pride in supporting local businesses, just like you! We source fabrics locally, ensuring that we contribute to the growth of our community.

But our love for our Mother Earth goes beyond supporting local businesses. We are committed to creating a line of conscious accessories. We believe in minimal packaging and reducing waste, starting with zero waste cutting whenever possible. We also make use of remnants and dead stock fabrics, giving them new life in our beautiful accessories.
